  • Sedona

    Today, arrive in Phoenix and pick up your rental vehicle. Head north to Sedona and enjoy your evening watching the sun set across the red rocks. Tonight for dinner we recommend Elote Cafe. If interested in any of the recommended restaurants, we advise that you call ahead to make any necessary reservations.

    This hotel is located in Sedona. The nearest airport is Flagstaff - Pulliam Field (FLG).

    Facilities

    Guests can enjoy the pleasant ambience of one of the 41 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. The hotel provides a baggage storage service, a safe, a newspaper stand, translation services, a coin-operated laundry and a smoking area. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.   • Cathedral Rock

    Spend today hiking and exploring around the Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, and Devils Bridge areas. There are a lot of amazing trails in this area. 

    In the afternoon, check out the resort downtown and enjoy the many shops and restaurants in town.

  • Grandview Point

    Today, head to Grand Canyon National Park (2 hours). Once you arrive, head to Moran Point (which is named after the famous landscape painter Thomas Moran), Grand View Point, and other view points along Desert View Drive. 

    Next hike below the rim on the South Kaibab Trail to Cedar Rest (3 miles RT) or Skeleton Point (5.4 miles RT). This is one of the best trails for views of the canyon below the rim. To reach these locations you will have to take the shuttle from the visitor center. Stop at the Tusayan Ruins and Museum.

    This afternoon, explore the east entrance of the Grand Canyon, the Desert Watchtower, including stops at Grandview Point, Moran, and Lipan.

    If you want to spend the evening stargazing, there are many viewpoints to choose from, including Mather, Navajo, Pima, and Mohave Points. From any of these points, you can observe the stars and constellations without any disturbances.

  • South Rim Grand Canyon

    Today, head to Hopi Point, located on Hermit Rest Drive. This is a less explored section of the canyon and offers your first fantastic views of the area. Head to Bright Angel Bicycles and pick up your eBike rentals.

    Explore the beautiful and awe-inspiring west side of the Grand Canyon National Park to a wonderful place known as Hermits Rest. The Historic Hermit Road tour winds along the Canyon rim for 5.5 miles and is closed to public vehicular traffic. Experience the South Rim’s grand views and breathtaking vistas of the Colorado River from the saddle of a Bright Angel Bike. Riding bikes along Hermit Road is a fun, safe, and memorable way to experience the Grand Canyon.

  • Antelope Canyon

    This morning, check out of your hotel and head to the east entrance of the Grand Canyon, the Desert Watchtower, including stops at Grandview Point, Moran, and Lipan. Exit the east entrance and head to the historic Cameron Trading Post for some authentic Navajo cooking and an opportunity to see their artwork.

    Continue to Page (2 hours) and head to Ken's Tours for a guided tour through Lower Antelope Canyon. Learn about the geology, history and the culture of the Navajo people that live around the canyon. 

    After dinner, head to Horseshoe Bend for sunset and enjoy your evening.

    In the afternoon, explore around the rim at your leisure. For dinner tonight we recommend Bonkers Restaurant.

  • Navajo Bridge, Vermilion Cliffs

    Today, enjoy a leisurely morning around your lodging and exploring around Lake Powell.

    This afternoon, head to Lake Powell Resort and relax and prepare to cruise through the famous Navajo Canyon. This tour offers some of the most breathtaking views on the lake. You'll see the Glen Canyon Dam, the second largest concrete arch dam in the U.S. Afterward view towering Navajo Sandstone geologic formations with stunning red and burnt orange rocks. Once you arrive at Navajo Canyon, view the 600 foot walls. See "desert varnish", also known as Navajo Tapestry, on the sandstone walls. Finish at the 50/50 wall where the rock is as high above you as it is equally deep below you.

  • Today, check out of your lodging and head back to Phoenix Airport (4 hours). Return your rental vehicle and begin your journey home.
