Bryce Canyon National Park

Known for its crimson-colored hoodoos, which are spire-shaped rock formations, Bryce Canyon is a place like none other on Earth. Hoodoos exist on every continent, but Bryce has the largest concentration by far. Along with having very unusual scenery, this small national park in Utah has one of the darkest night skies in the United States.

Along with its unusual geological formations, Bryce is the very top formation of all the geological formations in the Colorado Plateau that starts at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Bryce is also the “top step” of the Grand Staircase. At various viewpoints, one can see all the way down the staircase before it plunges steeply into the Grand Canyon.

Our tours of Bryce can include sightseeing along the rim of the highest concentration of hoodoos known as Bryce Amphitheater, a hike that places you in the middle of all the hoodoos, or a scenic drive along the entire length of the park’s road to see all its viewpoints. Depending on the length of your stay, all these things can be accomplished.
